Title: Why have my route workings segments got red crosses along them?

Red crosses indicate there is an incompatible activity assigned to the route working. In this case “Utility diversion - Water” contains a Stationary plant so it’s only suitable for a fixed working. When manually adding an activity to a working you shouldn’t be able to select an incompatible activity, but it is possible to edit an assigned activity later on and make it incompatible.
