Title: Will my parallel dongle work with a port extender?

I have an old parallel dongle but my new computer doesn't have a parallel printer port.  Would it be OK if I used parallel printer port on a port extender plugged into a USB port?

No, sorry!  our parallel dongle will not work with a port extender.

We recommend that you exchange the parallel dongle for a USB dongle.  There is a small charge (currently £60).
