The Output Screen (also called the Log Screen or Results Screen) is used to record useful information about your NoiseMap licence, the version that you are running and to keep a log of your work. Its contents are deleted when you close NoiseMap, but you can save it to a file if you wish.
It shows you the details of tiles that you have loaded and the progress of calculations. It also shows details of any results that you load from the database, including the version of NoiseMap used to do the calculation, the date of the calculation, the user who did the work and the computer that they used. This can be useful for QA purposes.
The results of model checks, non-database calculations and error reports are shown here, often with more detail than given in on the graphical screen.
We advise that you should always check the Output window during every run as this could alert you to potential problems.
