The latest current release of NoiseMap Five is version 5.0.26 which was formally released on 07 February 2013.
This includes a Scenario Manager which lets you inspect, rename and hide scenarios. You can't actually delete scenarios or alter their order in the scenario tree, but you can keep the structure meaningful.
Also, additional search terms have been added to the Find function. Other minor improvements to usability have been made.
NoiseMap can automatically check the model for errors when it is loaded. This includes checking for
- duplicated objects, which can occur when roads, buildings, ground contours, etc are loaded from digital mapping,
- receivers positioned within building outlines
RailNoise has had heavy testing recently and various small changes have been made to improve its usability.
NoiseMap 5.0.26 has been tested on all current versions of Windows, including Windows 8.
