New address for NoiseMap database server
« on: August 27, 2013, 12:36:48 PM »
Clients who use the NoiseMap Database Server to host their databases should be aware that owing to circumstances beyond our control, its address has changed from seserver.dyndns.org

The correct address is now server.noisemap.com

The old address will give you a an error message such as
"Unable to log on - connection timed out" or
"Unable to set up SSH tunnel to server - consult NoiseMap log for details"

To change the address from within NoiseMap five, go to File>Connect to Server, select the old seserver.dyndns.org address and delete it by clicking the red cross.

Then click on the green plus, and in the Connection name box, type a simple name such as NoiseMap Cloud Server and in the Server Address type  server.noisemap.com

Then click OK.  This should set up the new connection for future use.

We apologise for any inconvenience which is caused by a change to third-party services beyond our control.
